We are seeking a results-driven hands-on IT Operations Manager to oversee our company's day-to-day information technology operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring system reliability, efficiency of IT services, and support of our business objectives. The successful candidate will manage IT infrastructure, including cybersecurity, user support, and drive continuous improvement in our IT landscape. Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT systems and processes, ensuring efficient and effective technical support for users across all systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure system reliability, data security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to align the IT infrastructure with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Coordinate and manage IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Provision users with hardware and software access, including support
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- Audit systems, user access controls, and assess their outcomes.
- Preserve assets, information security, and control structures.
- Monitor IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
- Maintain IT disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Manage vendors IT vendor partnerships and contracts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or infrastructure services
- Experience in Google Workspace, Okta, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and Slack required
- Proven experience in IT project management
- Strong understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, and cloud services
- Knowledge of IT governance, operations, and information security best practices
- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff
- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or equivalent are preferred
- Availability to respond to IT issues after hours as needed
