The Go-to-Market (GTM) Vendor Solutions team is searching for a manager to lead global Scaled Operations delivery partner programs for two lines of business: Customer Success (SaaS post sales & customer education) and Deal Desk (seamless pre-sales contract management). The person hired into this role will leverage their operations, vendor management, and people management experience to lead their team and delivery partner to success supporting LinkedIn’s customers.   

The Manager, GTM Vendor Solutions will act as both player and coach to ensure the delivery partner team is set up for success. They will partner closely with global cross-functional leaders throughout LinkedIn to help solve problems and grow our delivery partner. While this role sits within an Operations team at LinkedIn, the person hired will require a deep understanding of LinkedIn’s products, strong analytical background, experience working with a global team, and experience partnering with outside suppliers. This is all in addition to solid understanding of establishing successful operational workflows. 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Manage, support, and coach a team of high-performing global Program Managers 
  • Drive program performance to meet or exceed targets per program / market 
  • Partner closely with delivery partner leadership to reinforce LinkedIn’s expectations  
  • Serve as a consultant to our various stakeholders to identify opportunities where we can help their teams to focus and scale by leveraging our delivery partner network 
  • Leverage operational expertise to optimize delivery partner rep performance through coaching, process optimization and design, regular review of program KPIs/SLAs, and holding delivery partner leadership accountable 
  • Think like an owner and have an impact outside of core functions by demonstrating leadership, providing leverage, and producing results that will help our team effectively scale 
  • Ensure program stakeholders receive regular updates on performance, successes, and challenges, and collect feedback to discuss with our delivery partner partners directly 
  • Engage in cross-functional development of new contracts and updates to existing contracts 
  • Make decisions, in partnership with manager colleagues, that benefit the overall GTM Vendor Solutions org 
  • Hold team accountable to quarterly goal setting and evaluation (OKRs) and completion of weekly and monthly administrative responsibilities 
  • Treat escalations from stakeholders or delivery partners with priority and partner with Program Managers or GTM Vendor Solutions leadership to identify and implement corrective actions 
  • Establish Path to Health (PTH) plans in collaboration with delivery partner leadership to address low performance or other program challenges 
  • Attend regular off-hours calls to ensure engagement in various delivery partner check-in meetings, 1:1s, and/or leadership discussions 
  • Required to travel both domestically and internationally up to 20% of time 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 7+ years of combined experience in program management, management consulting, and/or operations 
  • 2+ years of experience in vendor management / vendor operations 
  • 2+ years in a management role 
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Has the ability to have executive presence 
  • Experience in Operations management 
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision 
  • Advanced communication, organizational, presentation, and client-service skills 
  • Experience in working with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Tableau, and project management software solutions 
  • Experience in PMP certification 
  • Has the ability to present data in an effective, actionable manner 
  • Has the ability to work well in ambiguity with the ability to think strategically with a proven track record of providing consultative and data driven solutions 
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams 
  • Has the ability to be a life-long learner who embraces change w/ the ability to pivot based on team and business needs 
  • Has the ability to be calm under pressure; ability to not only think creatively during crisis moments but also to bring new ideas to drive innovative solutions  
  • Understanding of the sales lifecycle given role cover pre and post sales vendor support
