What is Manager EPMO?
The Manager EPMO is a key player in overseeing and supporting the execution of enterprise-level projects by providing robust management reporting, establishing project guidelines, and ensuring adherence to governance frameworks. Positioned as a value center, the EPMO contributes to project success, optimizes resource utilization, and aligns project outcomes with strategic business goals.
The role reports directly to the Head of Strategy within the Strategy & NBD Division and is part of a team of thirteen members
What does Manager EPMO do?
- Drive the education and consistent application of EPMO policies, procedures, and standards across all projects
- Collaborate with leadership at all levels to align on strategic delivery of projects and evaluates commercial, financial, and technical feasibility
- Ensure each project workstream aligns with the broader enterprise objectives, while remaining on targeted delivery timelines
- Manage end-to-end coordination with stakeholders and partners/consultants to facilitate timely project execution.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, to keep a tight governance on the EPMO portfolio
- Identity and table key risks as they occur, and update the relevant stakeholders on challenges
- Manage external consultants on-boarded to support critical projects ranging from individuals to consulting organizations
- Oversee the implementation of projects and resource allocation across different SBUs of the organization, providing a summarized view of status to the Chief Strategy Officer
- Continuously seek improvements in project processes and outcomes.
- Implement project management tools/software effectively.
- Identify opportunities to enhance project management effectiveness.
- Analyze stakeholder workflow and recommend corrective measures when necessary.

Requirements
We are seeking a PMO Specialist with a strong background in project management and financial evaluation. The ideal candidate will have experience managing project governance while working in areas like financial evaluation, mergers, and acquisitions.
- PMO Experience
- Financial Expertise: Strong exposure to financial evaluation, budgeting, or planning processes.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence or integration (preferred).
- Exceptional analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and tools like Excel, financial modeling and strong presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Minimum 6+ years, with 2-3 years in a PMO role preferred.
- Strong background in cross-functional project management.
- Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Sound analysis of financial analysis & reporting
- Familiarity with business processes and value creation concepts
- Advanced skills in MS Office, Google Workspace, and cloud solutions; familiarity with MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow or Trello is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and presentation skills, strong pressure handling capabilities.
