Why We Need you!

Ivanti is seeking an Engineering Manager to elevate the user experience of our Enterprise Service Management platform. In this role, you will manage our development team to ensure the delivery of high-performing and intuitive interfaces. You will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of UI designs, usability, and performance, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience as Manager leading high-performing development teams for SaaS products and 10+ years of experience in software development, preferably in enterprise-level product cloud applications.

What you’ll be doing… 

• Lead and manage development teams to deliver high-quality user interfaces.
• Define, review, and enhance development goals to improve our platform's user experience.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable front-end solutions using frameworks, preferably in Angular, React, or any other MVVM architecture.
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that maximize the platform.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in design, usability, performance, and efficiency.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of design standards and component libraries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coherent user experiences across all products.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design and development.
• Utilize metrics and KPIs for a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.

• Technologically adept, fluent in multiple technology stacks, and experienced in full-stack development.
• Proficient in performance tuning and network application architecture.
• Effective in managing escalations and partnering with customers for solutions.

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in software development, including at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience managing 8+ engineers and working with geographically distributed teams.
• Significant experience leading development for Enterprise cloud application platforms using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality UI components and libraries.
• 2+ years of experience with DevOps practices and integrating components into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of SaaS concepts, networking, and architectural frameworks for enterprise applications.
• Proven track record in performance optimization for high-traffic systems.
• Experience with UI Automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
• Experience with unit test development tools like Jest.
• Strong background in continuous delivery and agile development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with UI/UX research and A/B testing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate across disciplines.
• Built highly scalable server side software/cloud services using .Net Tech Stack and associated infrastructure to support a high volume, globally distributed mobile applications.
• Experience in managing and scaling a distributed application 
• Experience delivering a completely automated deployment (CI/CD Pipeline) of server-side software
• Experience delivering enterprise software using agile development methodology
• Experience with architecting scalable, resilient API platforms 
• Experience in Linux and Azure systems administration, provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Fluency with modern DevOps automation toolchains, modern containerization, orchestration, and virtualization technologies.
• Development of server-side analytics using latest techniques in Big Data is a plus
• Experience working in regulated environments; PCI, Federal is a plus
