About the Role

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Team is looking for a Manager to own and drive DEI programming across Wolt markets. This role will be responsible for leading initiatives through change management & comms, process & program optimization, and team development. This role will report to the VP, Head of Wolt HR based in Helsinki, Finland, and will work in close partnership with the DoorDash DEI team based in the United States.

Key Accountabilities

  • Program Management

    • Build and implement P0 and P1 market-specific action plans in close collaboration with the DEI Team and Wolt cross-functional partners, such as Recruiting, People Tech, L&D, Legal, and Finance, across multiple markets and time zones.

    • Create and execute on project plans on time and within budget. 

    • Manage DEI vendor relationships, including assessing potential vendors and managing vendor contracts and payment. 

  • Data and Reporting 

    • Monitor, measure, and report on the progress of each market-specific DEI initiative.

    • Support in-market data gathering for annual compliance reporting.

    • Establish and execute ongoing statutory reporting for key markets. 

  • Workforce Engagement

    • Support Employee Resource Group programming and strategy.

    • Lead local Heritage Month initiatives in key markets.

    • Support additional in-office and virtual employee engagement initiatives that contribute to the retention of employees from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds. 

  • Strategic Alignment 

    • Regularly bring local insights and updates to the DEI team, to support strategic alignment and contribution to DoorDash’s overall DEI commitments.

    • Communicate risks, concerns, and proposed pivots to the DEI team and cross-functional partnerships to help prevent or overcome blockers.

  • Design, implement, and own equity-focused programs that show real impact.

  • Develop and deliver detailed change management, communication, and post-implementation plans.

  • Identify and track metrics to measure program adoption and impact.

  • Lead operational excellence across People team projects.

  • Integrate DEI principles and best practices into all facets of Wolt operations. 

  • Deep dive into data to show the real impact of DEI programs and initiatives on our core business.

  • Work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership across DoorDash and Wolt in a high-visibility role.

  • Work directly with Wolt leaders and employee groups to ensure every employee feels they can show up authentically.

  • Travel to key Wolt markets, working on the ground with key partners and stakeholders to collect data, influence leaders, and implement initiatives. 

We’re excited about you because… 

  • You have 6+ years of experience in Program Management.

  • You have 4+ years of experience in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and/or Belonging functions within Europe. 

  • You have deep knowledge of HR, Recruiting, Learning and Development, Talent Management, People Analytics and/or Legal procedures.

  • You have experience delivering programs in a growing and complex global organization.

  • You’re adept at analyzing data to determine a course of action, and translating abstract concepts into meaning and impact.

  • You are collaborative, establish relationships quickly, and have experience working with multiple cross-functional partners, including leaders, that span across multiple regions and time zones. 

  • You are a proactive communicator.

  • You are able to work effectively and asynchronously. 

  • You're comfortable solving open-ended problems and working in ambiguity.

  • You are able to influence without authority.

  • You bring operational excellence to everything you do.
