St. Paul’s Foundation welcomes applications for a Manager, Corporate Partnerships to join our Development Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing our corporate philanthropy portfolio in support of Providence Health Care.

As the preferred candidate, you have demonstrated success in fundraising, sponsorship, cause marketing, employee giving campaigns, and personal solicitations, ideally within the corporate landscape. You are a high achiever adept at navigating a complex organization in a solution-focused manner.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate & Annual Giving, you will prospect, cultivate, solicit, and support the stewardship of donors with the capacity for corporate donations, in-kind donations, and sponsorship partnerships. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of strategic fundraising plans and the management of an active fundraising portfolio (125 to 175 accounts).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, close, and steward gifts; upgrade existing corporate donors.
  • Develop and implement sponsorship and corporate annual giving programs that align with the overall strategic direction of the Foundation.
  • Collaborate with the Providence Community and our internal Communications and Marketing team to develop correspondence and proposal materials for prospective donors and priority projects.
  • Work as part of a team to develop new sponsorship opportunities and plan and execute signature event sponsorship initiatives: Lights of Hope and Feast of Fortune
  • Present to corporate partners and volunteers information on employee giving campaigns, in-kind giving, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of trends in charitable giving, the tax implications of charitable gifts, and changing legislation.
  • Use Raiser’s Edge/NXT to track and qualify prospects; record and report gifts; and ensure all communications, contacts, and actions are recorded.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience and a proven track record of fundraising/sponsorship success.
  • Superior interpersonal skills to engage, motivate, and leverage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities; vigorous attention to detail; and exceptional time and organizational management.
  • Positive, collaborative approach with demonstrated management skills.
  • Highly computer-literate with strong Microsoft Office computer skills; experience with Raiser’s Edge an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work occasional weekend and evening hours.

Benefits

Salary range: $83,000 to $93,000
