Reporting to the General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer, you will be a key player on Spectra’s Legal team, providing comprehensive support for contract management, corporate governance, and compliance initiatives. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments, particularly sales. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including sales agreements and vendor contracts.

Collaborate with the sales team to ensure contracts align with business objectives and comply with legal standards.

Provide legal guidance on sales initiatives and promotional activities.

Maintain a centralized contract database and ensure all contracts are properly executed and stored.

Monitor contract performance and compliance with terms and conditions.

Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate documents, including board resolutions, minutes, and annual reports.

Support compliance with corporate governance policies and procedures.

Conduct legal research to support corporate initiatives and advise on best practices.

Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies.

Support the management of insurance policies

Assist in the completion of necessary certifications and applications related to insurance and risk management.

Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company’s operations.

Support the professional development of team members through training and feedback.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

15+ years of experience as a paralegal and/or contracts manager
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and legal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to take initiative and be proactive
- A team player who works collaboratively with executives, managers and employees
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, business environment where a roll-up-your-sleeves approach is required

COMPENSATION: Base salary range: $130,000 to $145,000 annually. While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate’s actual salary will be competitive based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience and location. In addition, this position is eligible to receive incentive compensation based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved.
