Manager, Consulting Technology

In this role, you will lead the development and automation of analytical tools, models, and reports that shape the future of fleet management, delivering exceptional value to clients while building scalability within our organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to become a change agent, working cross-functionally as a subject matter expert to enhance Merchants Fleet’s technology offerings and ensure service excellence. As a critical member of our Data Governance team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of fleet analytics.

Location: Merchants Fleet Headquarters in Hooksett, NH  or  Fully Remote

What You’ll Do:

As the Manager, Consulting Technology, you will:

• Collaborate with the Director of Fleet Consulting to define, automate, and execute tools and strategies that drive innovation and growth.
• Partner with sales, marketing, product development, operations, and technology teams to enhance client-facing data, reports, and dashboards.
• Develop custom Power BI visualizations, dashboards, and reports for both client and internal use.
• Lead the development, testing, support, and delivery of customer-facing reports to ensure portfolio needs are met.
• Shape the future of fleet analytics through advanced modeling and analysis.
• Manage special projects that contribute to business value and client satisfaction.

What You Bring:

• Technical Expertise: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI (or similar visualization tools), SQL, and VBA.
• Analytical Skills: Strong aptitude in data modeling, financial modeling, and reporting automation.
• Problem-Solving: Conceptual thinking with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver impactful solutions.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and experience working cross-functionally.
• Communication: Ability to simplify and present complex ideas to diverse audiences effectively.
• Drive and Detail: Ambitious, results-driven mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

Experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience in delivering modeling tools and automation.
• 5+ years of direct experience in Fleet Management or a similar industry (preferred).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA preferred.
