Job Duties
- Designing, implementing, and managing compensation structures and programs that align with organizational goals and local market trends.
- Conducting salary surveys and analyses to ensure competitive pay rates in the market.
- Developing and administering performance-based pay systems, bonuses, and incentives.
- Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team and ensuring proper salaries within the bands.
- Managing employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits for Orfium SL.
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements related to benefits (Minimum wage, Gratuity, EPF, ETF, & etc).
- Communicating benefits information to employees and assisting them with benefit-related inquiries.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all SL employment laws and regulations.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws, wage laws, equal employment opportunity (EEO) policies, etc in SL.
- Conducting audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Keeping abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and updating policies and practices accordingly.
- Developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures related to Compensation & Compliance
- Ensuring consistency and fairness in policy application across the organization.
- Communicating policies to employees and managers and providing guidance on policy interpretation.
- Analyzing compensation and benefits data to support decision-making and strategy development.
- Generating reports and metrics related to compensation, benefits, and compliance for management and regulatory purposes.
- Providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve compensation practices and compliance efforts.
- Educating employees and managers on compensation programs, benefits, and compliance-related matters.
- Conducting training sessions on topics related to company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration
- Strong understanding of Sri Lankan employment laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems
- Candidate must be based in Sri Lanka
