What Manager - Carrier and International Business does?

This position is for fixed data segment in Carrier and International Business team. The role includes existing revenue portfolio management, sales and new business development. Incumbent has to achieve assigned revenue target and ensure timely delivery of projects/task. Ensure timely payments to be collected and posted. Position demands extensive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires someone with strong technical knowledge for Fixed Networks (Local and International) and good communication skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue target   

- Coordinate and implement all initiatives assigned by the Stream head for the achievement of the budgeted results.

  • Business Development 

- Devise Go-to Market for fixed business targeting operators and Carriers locally and Internationally.

- Frequent customer visits to tap the untapped and increase customer base for the segment

- Build, Enhance and Maintain business relationship

- Improve business revenue through innovative ideas.

  • Account Management  

- Ensure Frequent customer visits with decision makers.

- Commercial negotiations

- Coordinate and follow up till closure of sale with partners/customers. Increase ratio of sale queries to firm order and maintain a healthy pipeline.

- Enhance customer satisfaction/retention.

- Meet and exceed customer committed service level availability.

- Recover payment within threshold 

- Ensure smooth delivery of projects through seamless coordination with internal and external stake holders.

  • Payment Recovery

- Make sure to receive all payments within assigned threshold

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager – Carrier Accounts

  • Must be a Graduate, candidate with relevant telecom or internet service provider experience preferably in sale having at least 8 years of working experience in related field.  Experience in or pre-sale /solution design will be a plus.
  • Candidate must have following skills:
