Role Purpose
At RedMart we use technology to delight our customers; we innovate to make our customers’ lives better. The Capacity Planning Manager will be leading the planning team. The primary focus of this role is to be the chief creator of fulfillment centre and transport operational capability so that it supports business sales and growth plans; at all times ensuring the operations team has the correct target for human and mechanical resources to meet their performance objectives.
Key tasks and responsibilities
The primary areas of responsibility of the Capacity Planning Manager will be to
Develop long and short term operations work plan that is driven by the business sales forecast with the usage of historical data; achieving the objectives e.g. pick units, totes, trolleys, trucks, pickers, RF guns etc.
Create short, mid and long term plans covering monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly on a day-to-day basis ensuring accuracy in plans.
Lead work to create seasonal plans for major events and public holidays; accounting for change in working timings for RedMart and the suppliers.
Be part of the promotion management team including promotional plans in capacity planning and work with the FC & Transport Manager ensuring capability of supporting all promotions.
Review daily FC and Transport performance compared against the plan to understand the under and over achievements, making necessary changes to the plan moving forward.
Create a financial model to track daily operational costs and compare against the budget; re-align the numbers with financials and defining objectives for operations team to meet the budget target.

Qualifications / Relevant Work Experience
Bachelors / Master Degree in Management / Economics / Supply Chain.
Deep knowledge of e-commerce / warehousing / transportation industry.
6+ years of related work experience with a good understanding of warehouse & transportation operations.
Proven people management skills is a must.
Strong knowledge of Google Drive (Docs / Slides / Sheets) and MS Office (Excel / Powerpoint).
