What is Manager Business Support & Trade?

 The Manager Business Support & Trade plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and regional head by managing targets, facilitating smooth operations, and providing critical business analysis. This role is responsible for target setting and allocation, internal stakeholder management, and ensuring that all sales-related metrics and promotions are effectively communicated and executed. The Business Support Executive will also handle the verification of promotional activities and financial disbursements, as well as coordinate with distributors to ensure alignment with KPIs and resource management.

 What does Manager Business Support & Trade do?

·        Set and allocate monthly sales targets for the team in alignment with organizational goals.

·        Ensure targets are clearly communicated to the sales team and relevant stakeholders.

·        Tag and share target details with the head office, ensuring accurate and timely information flow.

·        Coordinate with the head office to address any discrepancies or updates needed.

·        Facilitate smooth business operations by managing relationships with internal stakeholders.

·        Act as a liaison between the sales team, regional head and other departments to ensure business continuity.

·        Perform ad-hoc analyses to support the sales team with insights and actionable data.

·        Provide analytical support to address specific business needs and challenges.

·        Maintain and provide daily visibility on sales metrics and performance to the team.

·        Share key highlights and updates on all KPIs with the head office and respective managers to ensure alignment with daily targets.

·        Design and implement regional promotional strategies and campaigns to drive sales.

·        Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective promotional materials and initiatives.

·        Share daily and weekly key performance highlights, focusing on all relevant KPIs, with the regional head and managers.

·        Ensure that performance metrics are tracked and reported accurately.

·        Manage all the on-ground activities including trade marketing and the region level activations.

·        Budgeting the requirement for the trade across different retail channels.

·        Vendor management for the trade marketing and ensure compliance of all the SOPs.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Business Support & Trade?

 

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

·        Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a business support or sales operations role, preferably in the financial services or telecom industry.

·        Proven experience with target setting, performance analysis, and backend operations in a mid-level management capacity.

·        Strong strategic orientation with the ability to align operational activities with broader business goals.

·        Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

·        Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

·        Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure with a high degree of accuracy.

·        Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

·        In-depth knowledge of backend sales operations, compliance requirements, and strategic business planning.
