Business Planning and Operations Deals team within the CEMEA Business Planning and Operations (BPO) function is responsible for supporting of client incentives deal process in CEMEA for Merchant Sales & Acquiring (MS&A) clients that include merchants, acquirers and enablers. The role includes deal checking, help with modelling and best practice sharing, process automation and standardization, deriving efficiencies, SR GIG process management. Supporting of CEMEA BPO lead in achieving team goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal workflow management:
- Support the sub-regional and regional GIG process, including prioritizing deals at both structuring and contracting stages, and ensuring adherence to requirements during deal pipeline reviews.
- Maintain a 'deal calendar' and conduct weekly sprints to monitor deal progress.
- Promote early alignment and cross-functional collaboration to prevent multiple revisions and provide a 'one window' service for final approvers.
- Ensure all parties adhere to checklists, deal structures align with client and Visa requirements, deal clauses are comprehensive, and overall structure is efficient.
- Serve as the Center of Excellence for deal best practices and process flow, educating Business Developers (BDs) and driving efficiencies.
- Prepare regular management reports and presentation documents as required.
Deal modelling:
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Account Executives to build financial models for client incentive deals and facilitate internal approvals at all levels.
- Input and manage financial models
- Follow up with stakeholders such as Legal, BD, and Contract Management team until final sign-off by client and Visa.
- Responsibilities also include providing data for deal initiation sheet creation, updating respective deal trackers, advising account executive, conducting first level review of deal model output with Account Owner, supporting BDs in preparing client proposal and reviewing contract.
- Serve as the primary contact for data requests and coordination with different stakeholders
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
• 3-5 years work experience in banking/ financial services, Consulting
• Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Skilled at using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Project management experience
• Fluent in English
