Liftoff is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager based in London to develop and lead our global events strategy. In this role, you will bring innovative, high-quality experiences to life at trade shows, conferences, and co-marketing events. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive engagement and align marketing initiatives with sales and business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic, and data-driven leader with 6+ years of B2B marketing experience and a proven track record of success in event and partner marketing. This is a unique opportunity to shape Liftoff’s global event strategy, manage impactful partnerships, and lead a high-performing team that drives brand visibility and business growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global events strategy that aligns with regional revenue goals and meets unique market requirements.
  • Lead the events team, setting clear priorities and creating high-quality, memorable experiences for prospects, customers, and partners.
  • Drive creative and strategic execution at industry trade shows, conferences, co-marketing events, and customer-facing activations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product marketing, brand, and regional teams) to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Manage key vendor and partner relationships to ensure successful event execution and co-marketing programs.
  • Track and optimize the impact of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance.
  • Ensure seamless execution of events, managing budgeting, timelines, and external vendors to deliver high-impact results.
  • Create compelling marketing collateral, from event splash pages to presentation decks and blog posts, in partnership with the content team.
  • As needed, support global marketing campaigns including webinars, content, paid media, email, product marketing, and more.

Skills:

  • Proven B2B marketing leadership: 6+ years of high-tech event marketing experience, ideally in the mobile app industry.
  • Team leadership: 3+ years managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Partner marketing expertise: Demonstrated success in building strong relationships and managing co-marketing programs.
  • Data-driven mindset: Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize campaign performance.
  • Technical proficiency: Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM, event tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Innovative and forward-thinking: Continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments and regions.
  • Holistic marketing acumen: Strong understanding of how various marketing channels—digital, events, content, and partnerships—interconnect, enabling effective support and strategic alignment to achieve cohesive marketing objectives across global markets.

Liftoff's Compensation Strategy

Liftoff's compensation strategy includes competitive market rate along with equity and benefits and perks that will give our employees what they need to do their best work. In order to ensure teams are compensated fairly for the work performed, we map out specific levels and take into consideration the cost of labor within each location. Liftoff provides employees a total compensation package of competitive market salaries, equity, health and wellness stipends, medical benefits associated with your country of residence. The base compensation will vary based on location, experience as well as level.
