Wasserman is looking for a motivated, passionate analytical thinker to join our Brand Projects team. This team specializes in delivering insight and data-led partnership strategies, focused heavily in the areas of sponsorship, sport, entertainment, and culture. This position is responsible for managing and developing a variety of current and prospective projects, business relationships, sponsorships, and other partnerships in order to ensure client satisfaction.  The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the women’s sports space and a willingness to develop / maintain an understanding of the space at all levels

Responsibilities:

  • In tandem with the Project/Account Lead(s), manage multiple projects and/or associated workstreams with a steadfast commitment to exceptional deliverables, including project-based work and/or retainer-based work as applicable.
  • Build a strong working relationship with clients to ensure they receive appropriate attention, support, and project objectives are met.
  • Develop a mastery of core services including partnership strategy, valuation, audience, and go-to-market-strategy focused on sports and entertainment properties. Mastery includes being familiar with necessary tools, ability to execute project from end-to-end, explain methodology, and improve current capabilities.
  • Perform research and analysis of various demographics and statistics to help inform strategies and initiatives.
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources to develop client-focused narratives and recommendations (e.g., market landscapes, audience segmentation, sponsorship valuations, brand health studies).
  • Monitors media, trends and changing sports, entertainment and cultural landscape to keep company executives and team members aware while maintaining Wasserman’s position as the most knowledgeable in the industry.
  • Work creatively with client team members to develop decks and report materials.
  • Perform various tasks as needed by internal team members such as research, reports, daily updates, editing of materials, etc.
  • Stay up to date on client product / service offering and is able to thoughtfully present to clients and potential partners.
  • Learn and manage client-facing project management systems and legal processes for the purposes of supporting the creation and approval of different project documents.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years relevant experience with minimum 2 years of direct experience in account and project management (preferably in the sports or entertainment field).
  • Flexibility and knowledge to work with and understand objectives of clients across different areas of the sports and entertainment ecosystem.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proven account management skills in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Ability to think creatively in a team environment.
  • Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances.
