Team Summary
The Regional Acceptance Solutions, Sales team is responsible for growing the acceptance and usage of Visa Acceptance Platform throughout the Asia Pacific (AP) region. The team is responsible for targeting acquirers and payment service providers as well as other companies accepting or facilitating payments to add them to our growing client portfolio. This team works closely with local Business Development and Account Executive teams across AP region to provide specialized sales support in customer engagements.
What a Manager, Acceptance Solutions role does at Visa:
This role requires someone with broad range of skillset relating to project management with sales acumen ensuring pipeline and revenue tracking to achieve our goals. This role will be responsible for managing card present pipeline, keeping track of projects across the region to deliver on the pipeline, leading specific regional card present projects as well as driving technology partner capability roadmaps to enhance our value proposition. Key areas of responsibility includes -
Client Delivery
- As a Project Manager work closely with Sales Engineers/Client Implementation Specialists to manage new card present implementations and RFP support.
- Own full responsibility of end-to-end project plan, delivery from Ideation to go live.
- Management of complex implementations ensures Visa and Clients are aligned and keep on track during the project delivery phase. Critical to speed up time to revenue and proactively manage risk throughout delivery.
- Be first point of contact for clients and manage stakeholders internally and externally.
- Participate and/or lead calls associated with client implementations – this may include internal and/or external clients
- Collaborate with internal Visa teams to manage the deliverables.
Reporting & Communication
- Build and maintain MS Dynamics and PowerBI reports and dashboards relating to card present pipeline
- Provide responsive, accurate, and timely communications to internal and external stakeholders on project status
- Manage card present pipeline, priority alignment and revenue targets across AP region
General
- Build and enhance positive working relationships with Visa clients and internal stakeholders (i.e. Product Development, Technical Sales Engineers, and Account Management)
- Provide training (and share knowledge) to internal and/or cross-functional teams and external clients, as applicable
- Negotiate amongst various Visa teams and coordinate resources to ensure delivery on commitments
- Contribute to department processes and procedures

This role is a critical in growing card present and omni-channel market share with merchants, acquirers and payment facilitators.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
What you will need:
- 8 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in Project Management
- Experience in managing card present projects with strong knowledge of merchant and acquiring card present payment industry landscape in Asia Pacific region
- Experience in working with technology solution providers & payment facilitators in card present industry
- Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g. MS Project, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication and excellent presentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem determination and customer relations skills
- Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills are essential
- Effective verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills are required
- Demonstrate ability to articulate technical terms or processes into business language
- Able to remain calm and professional in high stress situations
- Ability to follow processes, procedures and adjust to a continuously changing environment
- Occasional travel to other Visa offices and/or onsite client visits
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
