Overview: 

The CDC Foundation is seeking a Management Analyst II to conduct a variety of studies, research and analysis of management and administrative areas such as budgeting and financial analysis; departmental operations such as forms, policies, and workflow; legislative analysis; management research; and statistical and informational analysis for the American Resue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. This position will support the Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) Public Health Infrastructure and Improvement (PHII) section.  

Qualifications:
•One year of experience as a Management Analyst I in Nevada State service.
•General knowledge of statistical methods required to analyze, project and present fiscal effects.
•Ability to analyze organizational and administrative programs, policies and procedures, prepare plans for revision, and make recommendations.
•Perform statistical computations such as correlation studies, variance analysis, averages and trends.
•Skills in organizing, planning, implementing and overseeing multiple programs or areas of responsibility; and knowledge, skills and abilities required at the lower level.


Education:
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public or business administration, finance, social sciences, mathematics or related field and two years of professional experience in the research, development, evaluation or revision of programs, organizations, methods, or procedures. 
•Or graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of professional experience.

Responsibilities:
•Review subgrant budgets for accuracy and ensure budgets are within the approved Scope of Work (SOW)/  
•Oversee, execute, and monitor sub-grantee, contract reimbursements and expenditures.
•Oversee the day-today program expenditures for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Track and forecast revenues and expenditures to ensure the program operates within approved authority and available funding. Oversee, monitor and process monthly/quarterly invoices for recurring operating expenditures to ensure the program remains in compliance with state/deferral grant authority and to identify if work programs or budget modifications are need. 
•Subgrant budgets are accurate, and awards are properly maintained and tracked.
•Subrecipient payments and other expenditures are processed timely, properly maintained, and tracked.
•Grant reconciliations are current and accurate. Leadership has been informed of any work programs or budget modifications as necessary.

This role is involved in a dynamic public health program. As such, roles and responsibilities are subject to change as situations evolve. Roles and responsibilities listed above may be expanded upon or updated to match priorities and needs, once written approval is received by both the CDC Foundation and New Jersey Department of Health, in order best support the State of New Jersey in their public health programming.   
   
This position is in-person. CDC Foundation retains the right to make adjustments to this as required.
