We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. This is a critical role where you will support the business by producing monthly management accounts, performing insightful analyses, driving process efficiencies, and maintaining robust control over all balance sheet areas. What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and insightful commentary on P&L and overhead spend.
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency within management accounting.
- Oversee and review the bi-weekly US payroll process, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
- Support the Accounts Payable team by ensuring all costs are accurately accrued at month-end.
- Provide key support during annual audits, including balance sheet analysis and historical reviews.
- Assist with Group reporting requirements and additional ad hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to deliver under pressure.
- A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance processes.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced Excel skills (essential).
- Experience with NetSuite (strongly preferred) and Google Sheets (preferred).
- Strong numeracy skills and the ability to analyse complex financial data with clarity.
- Proven experience in producing Management Accounts.
- Understanding of external audit processes and requirements.
- Proven post-qualification experience (5+ years preferred).
- Experience in the E-commerce or retail industry is a plus.
