We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our finance team on a temporary basis. The key support we are looking for is someone who can come in and collate & prepare the budget so this experience will be essential for this role.
We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities.
It’s a really exciting time to join us. We’ve recently launched our new corporate plan which sets out what we want to achieve over the next 5 years, with new strategies to support our ambitions. These build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

Please note this is a temporary position for approximately 3 months.
Requirements
Outline of key responsibilities:
- Pulling together budgets in line with ongoing projects
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supporting the financial reporting and ensuring compliance with internal policies
- Analyzing financial performance and presenting insights to senior management
- Collaborating with various departments to gather information and improve financial strategies
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified CCAB Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Has a sound understanding of management accounting principles
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Has excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
- Experience in the housing sector is desirable but not essential
