- Lead monthly and year-end close process ensuring timely accounting and reporting
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Support intercompany processes and prepare required reconciliations
- Track and maintain monthly accruals/provisions such as bonus and bad debts
- Calculation and submission of VAT returns
- Liaise with internal and external audit partners, ensuring the provision of timely information to comply with systems reviews and walkthroughs
- Provision of timely information for tax requests
- Support the business with supplier and invoicing queries as well as cash collection
- Define, implement and drive change to improve data quality, shorten review cycles and support decision-making processes
- May be required to support other functional areas and ad hoc projects as directed
- You have at least 2 to 5 years of professional experience with strong accounting skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to show attention to detail while working with large volumes of data, but also be able to step back and see “the big picture”
- A self-starter with an ability to deliver in a fast-paced, transformational environment driving change and continuous improvement with a positive attitude and critical mindset
- A natural problem solver who creates solutions where standard processes don’t exist
- Ability to work under pressure and capable of managing multiple work streams at once
- Agile and collaborative personality with an ability to work at a strategic & hands on level
- Must be a confident communicator and influencer with good interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English language
