About the Role

 

Rimes is growing rapidly, with the volume and complexity of new customer deals and strategic partnerships growing each year. Rimes considers Managed Services as an extension of an implementation life cycle for every customer. A successful candidate will join us scale our infrastructure services in the managed service business.

The candidate will help support the Application, Infrastructure & Data Delivery offerings for an exposure management platform and mission critical desktop trading application, used by a growing global customer base of asset owners and fund managers. 

 

About Rimes Managed Service

 

Rimes Managed Services is responsible for managing the infrastructure, application, and data delivery for each of our customers. A typical managed service is at least as much about processes and implementing change as it is about investments & technology.

As part of the Rimes Managed Services – the candidate will be joining a growing team of technical specialists who support the application. The candidate will carry out a wide variety of tasks to support existing Client’s platforms and assist Implementation teams with development work.

The role is both technical and client facing so the candidate be involved with tasks such as technical root cause analysis, development work & working directly with our customers to communicate issues & resolution.

Areas of Responsibility:

 

  • Provide customers with key information in monthly reporting cycle and analytical solutions
  • Provide Application support to the customer, including technical root cause analysis, bug fixes and process enhancements.
  • Own Data Delivery SLAs for multiple customers
  • Escalation of issues to the 2nd Line/3rd line Support group
  • Ensure delivery of service in line with KPIs
  • Participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production
  • Support Implementation teams with ongoing/new projects
  • Develop and maintain technical support documentation
  • Aid in product release and UAT testing
  • Monitor and resolve Cloud Infrastructure issues
  • Communicate directly with external vendors and clients to escalate and resolve issues

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

 

  • Previous work experience in the financial data industry
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sound working knowledge of financial spreadsheets and financial databases and applications
  • Experience working with, querying, and manipulating large datasets
  • Hands-on SQL programming experience

 

Useful:

 

  • Cloud Technology such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud
  • Excel VBA
  • Basic Programming knowledge (preferably Python and/or C# .NET)
  • Understanding of advanced finance concept such as Portfolio Management, Rebalancing, Performance
  • Data Visualisation

 

The working schedule is from 9PM to 6PM PHT, Monday through Friday (flexible hybrid)
