We're looking for a Maintenance Technician in our Nieuwegein FC who will be responsible for the repairs and upkeep of equipment within the day to day operation of the facility and warehouse.
The role offers a salary of up to 37 500€ per year, including 8% holiday allowance.
Your job:
- Perform scheduled inspections on equipment and facility;
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs on all production equipment as needed;
- Maintenance activities is carried out while being cognicent of the food production regulations;
- Report safety issues as needed;
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion;
- Estimate time and extent of repairs;
- Maintains a list of all contractors /vendors;
- Maintains maintenance assets, parts list and inventory;
- Ensure safe and proper storage of all tools and equipment;
- Ensure tools and equipment are in optimum condition;
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary;
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all contractors/vendors;
- Accepts and performs other related duties and special projects as assigned;
- Notifying the shift supervisor of significant deviations from normal operating conditions;
- Communicates required repaired list of broken items on a timely manner;
- Communicates items that cannot be repaired and would an outside vendor to be called in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a maintenance environment performing major and minor repairs relating to mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment/facility/hardware;
- Mechanical and Electronic aptitude and knowledge ;
- Has worked in a manufacturing environment previously, FMCG will be a plus;
- Technical college preferred;
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common information, reports and other documents;
- Ability to utilize computer-based systems for work orders and shift reports;
- Deadline and detail-oriented;
- This is a hands-on position and the employee is required to on their feet for most of the day as well as operate mechanical equipment/tools as needed to perform repairs;
- Able to work overtime and shifts, this may include weekends/holidays when scheduled;
- You must be authorized to work within the Netherlands - no sponsorship available.
