Starr Bus Charter & Tours is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing parts management, administrative organization, and facility coordination. It’s the perfect position for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in learning more about diesel maintenance and fleet operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of parts and the efficient operation of our facilities.
Parts Management
• Perform parts lookups, price comparisons, and collaborate with vendors for sourcing.
• Conduct online parts lookups using VIN specifications, file claims for damaged or undelivered parts, and process core returns.
• Manage inventory by tracking parts for internal and external work orders, updating quantities and pricing for received parts in Fleetio, and organizing parts in the warehouse.
Facilities Coordination:
• Order supplies for the office, shop, and wash bay.
• Address facility discrepancies such as garage door repairs, plumbing issues, and general maintenance.
• Oversee gate and alarm system maintenance, manage lost and found, and coordinate wash bay repairs.
• Serve as the onsite contact for repairs and collaborate with the internal maintenance team.
Administrative Organization
• Enter and maintain accurate work order data and handle external billing through Invoicely.
• Record fuel entries (in-house, on-the-road, Landline) and manage DMV paperwork for titling, registration, and insurance updates.
• Update bus binders, address E-ZPass violations, manage the driver app, and keep Fleetio system data current.
• Assist with special projects such as maintaining the master vehicle list, vehicle onboarding, and coordinating fuel orders and Automated Vehicle Defect Inspection Reports (AV DVIRS).
