Our Team: We are founded by a senior Google AI expert and a Bridgewater Associates Algorithmic Investor & Stanford MBA. We’re not looking for employees. The development team consists of world class engineers and leaders from companies like Google and Bloomberg. Each individual has had great success building large scale enterprise software and is now excited to try their hand at transforming the insurance industry. 

Your Role: Who are you? An experienced engineering manager with a track record of building and managing highly productive ML engineering teams. You take pride in delivering customer value quickly while maintaining a high technical standard. You'll lead a team of cross functional engineers including people with front-end, backend, data pipelines and ML/AI experience. We are building an AI native product and embedding ML/AI engineers along with other skill sets into one team focused on delivering product value has been hugely beneficial for us.

Outcomes:

  • Build the technical vision and direction for your team
  • Partner with your Product Manager to execute on your team charter
  • Hire and grow the  engineering team
  • Setup a reliable continuous product delivery infrastructure and processes with high focus on Quality

Role Competencies:

  • Designed interview processes, hired and managed data software engineers with cross functional skills
  • Strong system and architecture design skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Extreme creativity and resourcefulness, appetite to solve previously unsolved problems 
  • Experience in deploying systems on GCP or AWS

Work-life, Culture & Perks: 

  • Compensation: Specific compensation and equity varies with experience level. The compensation range for this position is $210 - $250K based on experience
