You’re passionate about sharing your knowledge to support the next generation of Machine Learning Engineers in their development and success stories. You feel comfortable explaining difficult subjects on various levels and are adept at creating new learning and development offerings on Data & AI.

You are Fluent in working in different cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud. We’re interested if you have experience with our partners like Google to deliver their content, labs and environments. You’re comfortable breaking down complex topics for everyone, no matter their level, and you have a knack for adapting training to create exciting new learning opportunities in Data & AI.

What You’ll Be Doing as an Educator

You’ll have the chance to train professionals from top international companies such as Uber, Intel, Nike, Booking, Lego, Blizzard, Airbus, Adidas, Verizon, Credit Suisse, ING, KLM, Shell, and many more. Your teachings will make a difference for the millions who rely on the data products created by these companies. We take pride in helping leading organizations become AI-driven.

You’ll teach an average 6 to 12 days per month, leading both in-person and virtual sessions, and continuously develop your own skills through collaboration with Google and our internal community. You’ll also have the opportunity to shape how we deliver Google Cloud training across our Academy and bring new ideas to help engineers grow faster and deeper in their cloud and AI expertise.

As our dedicated Machine learning Educator, you’ll be the go-to expert on Google Cloud Platform for our trainings we deliver worldwide. You’ll deliver high-quality, hands-on training sessions using official Google content, labs, and environments. You’ll be responsible for running key courses like the Google Cloud Big Data & Machine Learning Fundamentals or Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform.

We understand that practical experience is crucial for effective knowledge sharing, especially on technical topics. That’s why we provide opportunities to work on projects once you’ve settled into your role.

Requirements

What are we looking for

We're on the lookout for someone who has a Google Cloud Certification. Ideally, a Professional Data Engineer or Professional Machine Learning Engineer, but if you have a Professional Cloud Architect or Associate Cloud Engineer certification or relevant experience with it, we’d love to hear from you too!

It's necessary to have some hands-on experience with Google Cloud products and services, especially when it comes to infrastructure, big data, or machine learning tools. In addition, it is important to have a good understanding of the wider Google Cloud ecosystem, including tools like Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, and a general idea of multi-cloud environments and top industry tools.

If you have experience teaching or training, that’s a bonus! What really matters is your passion for making complex topics easy to grasp. You like to work independently, but you also know how to collaborate with both our internal team and external partners like Google. A curious mindset is key, as it is important to stay up to date in this fast-paced field.

Lastly, you will be traveling for in-person training sessions, mainly within the Netherlands, but as our customer base grows, you might find yourself traveling across Europe and beyond!
