MACA Associate (Data Scientist)

Primary Function of Position:

Intuitive is among the fastest-growing healthcare companies focused on medical technology.  Reporting to the Korea MACA Engagement Manager, this role will be a part of the MACA Associate/Data Science team that works closely with the MACA team, our commercial leaders in Korea and customers to help drive market adoption and optimize da Vinci minimally invasive robotic assisted surgery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own and lead analytical and data science support for the Korea MACA Leader for consulting projects.
• Leverage deep experience in developing business situation case studies and integrating insights from various data sources into hospital clinical, operational and financial excellence pathway planning or redesign.
• Co-develop analytics products with fellow MACA Associates that empower MACA consulting work with measured ROI in terms of patient and surgeon access.
• Scale analytics and digital product utilization and/or processes and best practices.
• Experience in advanced analytics, LEAN, Six Sigma, Project Management, DevOps or AGILE.

Skill/Job Requirements:

• 5+ years plus years overall of digital transformation, business intelligence and fact-based case study development; experience in a health care company or hospital administration preferred.
• Data informatics or public health background with experience in leveraging healthcare databases such as HIRA and Data.go.kr to develop strategic insights.
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• Superior verbal/written communication and presentation skills, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills to work across multiple constituents.
• Proven ability to solve open-ended problems and work cross-functionally to implement initiatives.
• Results-driven attitude and a resolve to win; must be self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Great presentation skills including ability to present to large customer groups, executives, or sales team members.

• Must be well versed in MS Office Suite and one or more of these platforms: Python, Tableau, R, MSFT BI or SQL.

• Travel minimum of 25%.
• Fluency in Korean and English.
