Overview

The key target in this role is to continuously drive value creation of our business within the scope of M&A and Cloud Business Intelligence Product Ownership by effectively executing M&A projects, defining our Cloud Business Intelligence strategy and bringing the strategy to life.

In the function as M&A Specialist and Cloud BI Product owner you will have mainly the following tasks

  • Operationally steer the M&A process for acquisition and divesture projects, providing expert guidance on legal, financial, procedural, and operational aspects. Act as the primary point of contact for all related matters for the projects under management.
  • Lead the financial, operational, and HR due diligence process for acquisitions and divestures, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of potential acquisition targets and divestiture opportunities.
  • Conduct the standalone and integrated financial valuation of potential M&A targets & divestures. 
  • Provide, implement and continuously improve a framework to manage the equity branch portfolio of ContiTrade within EMEA.
  • As the Cloud BI Product Owner, you are responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of a high-quality solution that meets internal customer needs within the markets in EMEA and on ContiTrade central level.
  • Continuously develop, define and communicate the Cloud BI solution strategy to cross-functional teams.
  • Translate the overall Cloud BI strategy into an operational product roadmap. Prioritize, structure and afterwards align this roadmap.
  • Collaborate with the ContiTrade IT team to ensure that technical considerations are considered in solution decision-making and that business requirements are fulfilled according to the strategy & roadmap.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating regularly to ensure a shared understanding of the solution strategy.

 

  • Academic degree (Bachelor or above) in business administration / economic science or comparable qualification with emphasis on Finance.
  • Several years of work experience in M&A or Business Intelligence department desirable.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of company valuation (like DCF method) desirable.
  • Experience in BI and similar tools.
  • Strong MS Office knowledge required, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Project leadership experience desired.
  • Work experience in an international environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, independent working style and motivation.
  • Strong analytical and numeric skills paired with strategic thinking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately across different cultures.
