Are you a skilled M365 Security engineer with extensive knowledge of Microsoft platforms and Products? We are looking for an enthusiastic Global Microsoft 365 Security Administrator to join our IT Support hub based in Mumbai.
As a M365 Administrator, you will be responsible of day to day administration of the Microsoft 365 platform. Working from MMR local offices. Must have a proven track record of working within in a team with other Support Engineers and assisting senior members of the team with ad-hoc tasks as required. The team has a relatively flat hierarchy which means we are all involved in every task. Experience working in a similar environment would be advantageous.
Responsibilities are not limited to the outlined below as working as part of a small team you will be required to get involved in every aspect of the companies’ IT based needs.
Hours of Working: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with one hour lunch break. In addition to this you will be required to work extra hours within reason as required by the business. These additional hours include weekend IT cover for urgent queries (by phone and / or email).

Requirements
Responsiblities
Administration:
- Managing and resolving alerts / incidents for Microsoft Defender for Exchange and Defender for Endpoints.
- Monitoring and managing M365 users sign in logs.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues including connectivity and mobility.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 and MS Exchange policies.
- Administer and support system backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Update Ticket technical details, document new processes, create guidelines for new solutions, update infrastructure documentation.
- Help to implement and manage identity and access solutions using Azure Active Directory (AAD) and other Microsoft 365 services working with our Global System Admin Team.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 governance policies and settings using Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Security & Compliance Center, and PowerShell.
- Assess and mitigate Microsoft 365 security risks and threats using Microsoft Defender and other tools such as Azure Sentinel.
- Coordinate with other IT staff and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of Microsoft 365 solutions with organizational goals and requirements.
- Raising support calls with 3rd party providers for both software and hardware related issues.
- Evaluate the Microsoft M365 suite, explore new apps, and suggest how they can be used for the business.
- Conduct routine monitoring of Audit Log reports, system and storage utilization and capacity management to ensure Microsoft 365 applications are secure, available, and reliable.
- Support the management of software licenses.

Key Technical Skills
- Expertise with Microsoft 365 security solutions such as Azure AD Identity Protection, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Data Loss Prevention
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the Endpoint Security Windows Defender
- Skilled at managing and resolving alerts/ incidents for Microsoft Defender for Exchange and Defender for Endpoints.
- Operational Knowledge of Windows Defender and Intune
- Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including licensing, roles, permissions, and best practices
- Familiarity with concepts for distribution lists, security groups and M365 Groups
- Working Knowledge of M365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Azure AD
- Understanding of M365 Teams integration capabilities with M365, SharePoint Online and Third-Party Apps
- Competent at producing high-quality documentation and user guides
- Knowledge of working with third party providers e.g. Microsoft technical support
- Experience with Microsoft 365 migration, integration, and hybrid scenarios
- Curious about maintaining a thorough understanding of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 core technologies
Additional Technical Skills
- Experience in undertaking business impact assessments for major M365 updates, as well as analysing complex technical issues and proposing appropriate solutions.
