We are seeking a proactive Logistics Vendor Manager to optimize our logistics and drop ship supplier relationships. In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations for CFS (Container Freight Station) operations, drop ship vendors, 3PLs, and transportation carriers. You'll drive performance improvements, collaborate cross-functionally to enhance our logistics network's efficiency, and ensure timely deliveries to improve customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations for CFS (Container Freight Station) operations, drop ship vendors, 3PLs, and transportation carriers.
- Conduct weekly business reviews, analyze metrics, and implement corrective actions to ensure performance goals are met.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline operations and achieve a 3-5 day order-to-delivery cycle from overseas.
- Develop enhanced dashboards and reporting tools in partnership with engineering to support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics metrics and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in transportation, distribution, or logistics roles, with a focus on small parcel carriers and ecommerce.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven track record in vendor management and driving supply chain efficiencies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
