The Logistics Business Operation / Key Account Manager is responsible for optimizing and coordinating logistics operations with efficiency. This role involves managing customer accounts, tracking delivery ETAs, analyzing operating costs, and driving improvements to meet customer service goals. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience to provide leadership, resolve operational issues, and establish strong communication channels with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management and Optimization:

  • Manage, direct, optimize, and coordinate team operations to ensure efficiency
  • Monitor and manage the process of customer account movement, track delivery ETAs, and conduct follow-ups during the delivery process
  • Identify and resolve pending operational issues in various regions/bases

Financial Management and Cost Control:

  • Analyze, control, and monitor operating costs from a financial management perspective
  • Analyze operational costs to meet productivity targets and team goals
  • Register and process vendor registration and monitor consolidation in Cello

Risk Management and Improvement Initiatives:

  • Identify various risks during the delivery process and establish alternatives to mitigate them
  • Monitor and drive improvements to customer service goals, including on-time delivery, product lead-times, and responsiveness to requests for quotes

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide clear direction and strong leadership to resolve operational issues within the team
  • Manage and guide the team to achieve high customer service goals and operational efficiency

Communication and Reporting:

  • Establish communication channels and regular meeting sessions with customers and internal departments
  • Communicate and report carriers’ KPIs, operational issues to upper management, customers, and HQ
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting as required

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Maintain and analyze data to maximize performance and implement improvements
  • Report on performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain function

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other job-related duties as required by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 13+ years of Logistics management experience including customer service experience required
  • Experience in leading a group of team members with effective leadership
  • Prioritization skill, able to shift focus to urgent issues while not falling behind on other duties
  • A good attitude and ability to work in a team setting
  • Proficient in Outlook, MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
  • SAP system experience is preferred
  • Experience with Samsung Key Account Management experience preferred
  • Experience with Inventory and warehouse operation experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 15% in U.S. and South America
