Job Overview:
FitzMark is looking to add a Training and Development Content Specialist to leverage their knowledge and experience in the third-party logistics industry to further create and progress our learning and development initiatives. This position will have an immediate impact on both new and tenured FitzMark employees and their contributions to our organizational development. 

As a Training and Development Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining new and existing training programs and ensuring alignment in content across the organization. You will assist in promoting an active training environment and ensure our employees have the skills and tools to enhance their careers at FitzMark. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Training Team on the creation, development, and execution of content utilized for new-hire training and continued learning and development initiatives 
  • Work closely with Department Heads to develop content relative to training programs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and external materials 
  • Work alongside the Marketing Coordinator to develop and produce content for internal and external use 
  • Assist in delivering a two-week new-hire training program utilizing corporate content and industry and sales experience 
  • Work collaboratively with the Training Team and all Departments to deliver continued education training sessions periodically 
  • Present information using a variety of formats, techniques, and resources to introduce and reinforce content through all learning styles (i.e., role-playing, PowerPoints, group discussions, videos, lectures, quizzes, etc.) 
  • Maintain alignment of training content with updates to our proprietary technology and transportation management system (TMS), DASH 
  • Leverage knowledge of current events and market trends in the logistics and transportation industry in respect to training 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in third party logistics (3PL) or transportation required 
  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales required 
  • Experience in learning and development preferred 
  • Experience operating a Learning Management System (LMS) preferred 
  • Must be able to travel overnight up to 35% of the time 
  • Must be able to be in office full-time in our Atlanta, GA location 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong presentation skills  
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) 
  • Knowledge and ability to coach, mentor, and train all different types of adult learners 
  • Strong understanding of the third-party logistics industry and market trends 
  • Embodiment of FitzMark’s culture in and out of the training room
