MAXISIQ is seeking a highly experienced Senior Logistician to support the management and optimization of logistics operations for rapid prototyping efforts. Employ your full range of logistical experience (supply chain management, acquisition logistics, rapid fielding, sustainment, and logistics planning) in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  This is a full-time position located on Fort Belvoir, VA with work anticipated mid December 2024 upon award. 

Duties of this role include:

  • Support the logistics lifecycle from research and development (R&D) through testing, evaluation, fielding, and transition.
  • Manage the entire supply chain process, ensuring the availability of parts, equipment, and materials for rapid prototyping and testing.
  • Ensure that logistical support is integrated into the design, development, and deployment phases of projects
  • Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure the timely acquisition and distribution of critical resources
  • Provide logistics support for field testing and evaluation of prototypes, ensuring that all equipment, personnel, and resources are in place to conduct trials and assessments.
  • Create detailed logistics plans that ensure operational readiness, resource allocation, and compliance with Army modernization priorities.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of new systems and technologies into existing military infrastructures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, program managers, and senior leadership, as well as external stakeholders to ensure alignment of logistics efforts with project goals and timelines.

Clearance Requirement: Active or current Secret level clearance minimum

Education: Masters degree.

Experience: 8-12 years of experience in a logistics or related field, that includes

  • Demonstrated experience managing logistics for complex systems, including weapons systems, cyber capabilities, and experimental prototypes.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, acquisition logistics, and sustainment planning.
  • Familiarity with defense logistics systems and tools, including automated supply chain and logistics management platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale logistics projects, including coordinating rapid fielding efforts and integrating logistics into project timelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics operations, anticipate challenges, and propose innovative solutions for complex logistics needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present logistics plans and strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams and managing relationships with suppliers, contractors, and military personnel.
  • Experience supporting the logistics of cyber and information systems, particularly within DoD or related environments.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other related certifications are a plus.
