Corio Vet Clinic
Corio provide a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services for small animals in a friendly and caring environment. Our clinics comprise of a well-equipped hospital and major branch. 90% of our cases are kept in-house which means there’s a varied and interesting caseload.
To facilitate a better work/life balance, our full-time Vets work 4 full days and receive one scheduled RDO each week, with participation in a rotating weekend roster with NO after hours. We are only 45 minutes from Melbourne's CBD, but also a stones' throw to the Surf Coast and Great Ocean Road.
Features of our clinic include:
- 4.5 vet team with years of experience and large roster overlap to provide plenty of support. Our vets work longer shifts to facilitate at least 1 RDO
- Supportive, enthusiastic and a technically strong nursing team that can give ample procedural assistance (radiographs, IV catheter placement, blood collection)
- Opens 6 days a week with no A/h or Sundays.
- Extensive in-house Idexx blood machine
- Basic ultrasound
- Digital X-Ray
- New dental X-ray unit
- IM3 dental suite
- Multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring equipment
- IV pumps

- 2 consulting rooms and surgical areas

Details of this Locum Assignment
When: November 2024 - Ongoing (we can work around your availability).
Duration: ideally 4-6 weeks at the time.

To be considered for the position you must be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 -3 years PQE as a GP Veterinarian.
- Ability to handle a mixed caseload of Medical and Surgical would be highly regarded.
