Local Sales Manager - German Market

Are you a sports guru with a flare for commercialization? We are on the lookout for a German local sales manager to support the ever-developing Media Partnerships division within Better Collective.


As the German local Media Sales manager you will be flying the monetisation flag for our key assets Wettbasis and Wettfreunde as well as our Media Partnership with Sport1 and further Media Collaborations. With over 2 million unique monthly visitors, ever growing social presence across 15 channels and a catalogue of inventory items such as Podcasts, Youtube Shows, Banner and Editorial Sports Content working alongside the local internal stakeholders we need you to take this to the next commercial level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for not only the execution of marketing campaigns - with involvement in ideation, production, and delivery - but also the sales process, working closely with our external partners to understand and support their strategic objectives and KPI’s.


THE ROLE

Combining a blend of creative ideation and commercialisation you will be charged with developing out commercial concepts (through close collaboration with internal stakeholders) and then taking to market penetrating the local customer base, owning and building key relationships. We are keen to serve any brand looking to reach an engaged sports audience through ALL types of digital media content executions, from video through to audio and editorial solutions.


YOUR CHALLENGE

The key objective is to grow our sponsorship/brand revenue. This will be achieved through:

  • Proactive collaboration with internal stakeholders to ideate new content formats - scaling our media inventory and maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Working across all aspects of our sponsorship portfolio, from bespoke creative solutions to sponsored editorial and video content.
  • Working closely with external partners to understand their marketing objectives & designing creative concepts to best support their needs
  • Developing and maintaining a pipeline of new partners and revenue opportunities
  • Developing key strategic relationships with media agencies and direct brands
  • Ensuring the delivery of booked campaigns and confidently report back to partners on key performance metrics
  • Reporting monthly on booked revenue and pipeline progress
