Are you passionate about supporting local managers, promoting a positive workplace culture, and fostering employee growth? We are currently seeking a Local HR Business Partner to join our team and actively contribute to the development and execution of impactful HR strategies and initiatives.

In this role, you will champion a workplace culture that is healthy, safe, and inclusive for all employees. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to local managers, providing guidance on HR matters and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support the governance of all HR-related topics in collaboration with the Regional HRBP, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Apply deep knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in Spain to guide managers and employees effectively.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring exceptional employee experiences.
  • Act as a coach to managers, empowering them to foster growth, development, and performance within their teams.
  • Drive initiatives to promote a culture of dialogue, feedback, and collaboration within the organization.
  • Oversee employee wellbeing and advocate for a healthy, inclusive, and dynamic workplace environment.
  • Lead conflict resolution and employee relations, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
  • Play a pivotal role in payroll supervision and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Travel between our offices in Madrid and Vitoria as needed to ensure a strong HR presence and employee engagement.
  • Drive continuous process improvement in HR operations, leveraging tools such as JIRA and SAP to resolve operational demands efficiently.
  • Present engaging monthly HR business updates to employees locally, fostering transparency and alignment with company objectives.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in HR business partnering, ideally within multinational environments.
  • Solid understanding of HR policies, processes, and legal compliance (especially in Spain).
  • Expertise in employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach, adept at balancing operational HR duties with long-term HR initiatives.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (additional languages a plus).
  • High emotional intelligence and a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Ability to navigate fast-paced environments with adaptability and resilience.
  • Experience with HR systems and payroll management.
  • Familiarity with HR metrics and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
