Role Summary
The Local Coordinator is responsible for managing a team of Language Data Annotators, ensuring that all project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met according to the client’s standards and requirements. The Local Coordinator works on improvement of AI solutions through data annotation.
Role Responsibilities
The Local Coordinator is responsible for handling project execution and managing, onboarding, and training direct reports.
- Monitor and track team KPIs to measure project progress
- Monitor and track team time/attendance and attrition rates
- Analyze project data to provide regular performance updates to direct reports, facilitate corrective actions as needed
- Report progress to client and issues to the TP management; escalate when needed
- Receive daily client updates and manage direct reports accordingly
- Manage new hire onboarding (remotely and/or onsite), training, ramp-ups, terminations, and ramp-downs
- Monitor adherence to work standards and manage potential issues that may arise
- Hold line management responsibility, ensuring the team is at optimum performance, fully utilized, and receives constructive feedback
- Manage employee well being and identify ways to retain existing staff; conduct regular personal check-ins and 1-on1s (monthly/quarterly)
- Resolve basic IT issues and escalate where needed
- Optimize trackers and local project workflows where possible
- Provide Program Manager with productivity and tool time stats for client billing
- Conduct regular security/confidentiality refreshers with direct reports to maintain client standards
- Coordinate office security measures as needed (e.g. camera setup, tinted windows) and team building activities
- Ensure the on-site team has everything required to carry out their responsibilities successfully
- Complete any other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
