About the team and position

The Loan Documentation Specialist works primarily to ensure that all collateral documents are provided to their end destination. The Specialist will contact internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner when documents are inaccurate or incomplete and ensure that post-loan closing and servicing are supported. We’re looking for bright people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and are eager to raise the bar every day while challenging themselves to grow and learn at a rapid pace.

We offer a competitive starting hourly rate of $18/hr with substantial growth opportunities based on performance. You can boost your earnings within a short timeframe: 

  • Starting Pay: $18/hr 
  • At 6-Months: $18.50/hr 
  • At 12-Months: $19.50/hr 

 

After 6 months you unlock our performance-based, Careers Not Jobs program which allows eligible team members a compensation increase ($0.50) every 90 days

What you’ll be doing

We're looking for individuals who possess a strong drive for action and execution, coupled with a sharp eye for detail and precision. In this role you will: 

  • Process loan documentation corrections, identifying and seeking missing paperwork or information (e.g., prepare and submit documents, data and records according to department procedures and regulations). 
  • Researching and resolving discrepancies. 
  • Records and shares updated information. 
  • Ensure the perfected title is received. 
  • Internal customer service by receiving inquiries and responding to a variety of questions. 
  • Outbound communications to customers, government agencies, and other partner companies. 
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with teams across Carvana. 

This is a full-time, in-office, hourly position with an assigned schedule.

 

What you should know

  • 1-2 years of work experience in an administrative or data entry capacity. 
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional, courteous manner. 
  • Ability to manage, organize, and reconcile multiple sources of information with accuracy. 
  • Computer literacy and data entry accuracy. 
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a team environment. 
  • Ability to adapt to change. 
  • Enthusiasm and energy to contribute to and thrive in a rapidly growing start-up atmosphere where roles continually adapt as the company evolves.

 

We’d love it if you also have: 

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. 
  • Experience working with auto titles, loans, etc.
