Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in managing all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience in case preparation, legal research, document drafting, and trial support. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Case Management & Litigation Support:
Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, and trial support.
Manage case files, maintain case calendars, and track court deadlines.
Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses.
Coordinate and assist with document production, e-discovery, and case organization.
Legal Research & Document Preparation:
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, cite checks, and legal memos.
Assist in preparing deposition summaries, trial exhibits, and witness lists.
Proofread and edit legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with court rules.
Client & Witness Coordination:
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to schedule meetings, depositions, and hearings.
Assist attorneys in preparing clients and witnesses for depositions and trials.
Gather and organize medical records, contracts, and other case-related materials.
Trial & Courtroom Support:
Prepare and organize trial binders, exhibits, and evidence for hearings and trials.
Provide on-site trial support, including managing documents and assisting attorneys in court.
Coordinate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses as needed.
