We are looking for Linux Secuiry Enginieeer for a contract roles. This is a long-term contract with a global IT consulting leader.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience.

• Develop, construct, and deploy Linux operating systems.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Linux Subject Matter Experts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the setup of Linux servers aligns with organizational needs.
• Integrate complex ICT infrastructure software and applications with Linux operating systems.
• Analyze, log, track, and resolve complex issues related to Linux Standard Operating Environments (SOEs) and integrated business applications.
• Implement measures to strengthen the security and resilience of Linux servers.
• Create and maintain a library of dependable and reusable automated builds for streamlined system configuration and improved operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with system architects to design and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) using various technologies.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to determine their feasibility and potential benefits for the organization.
• Create and perform peer reviews of Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides, and related artifacts.
• Mandatory: NV2 Security Clearance
