Lifecycle Marketing Specialist 

Overview:

The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will conceive, build and optimize lifecycle marketing programs to engage, convert, and retain consumers on the Weedmaps marketplace. This role will recommend strategies and tactics, integrate the contributions of collaborators across the company, and continually improve campaigns that reach millions of people.

The impact you'll make:

  • Conceive, develop, AB test, and optimize omnichannel lifecycle marketing campaigns to convert, and retain users
  • Create, validate, and fine-tune mobile-responsive email templates using HTML, CSS, Liquid code, and Litmus
  • Utilize Braze to dynamically trigger, target, and personalize messages and message elements
  • Strategically experiment with various messaging channels including email, push, in-app messages, and app inbox notifications to determine the most effective methods for user engagement
  • Establish necessary reporting, analyze results and develop hypotheses for further optimization
  • Work with Growth, Marketing, and Product Development teams on multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Use collaboration tools including JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Figma, and Google Docs to document and communicate tasks,

What you've accomplished:

  • Expertise in consumer-scale email and push marketing, with 3 years of directly related professional experience
  • Familiarity with campaign design and development for email, push, and in-app messages
  • Proficiency in copywriting and content strategies for driving engagement and direct response
  • Expertise with Braze or similar app event-driven message automation platforms such as Iterable or Customerio 
  • Skills in mobile-responsive email template coding using HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency with tools like Litmus for email template validation
  • Competence in writing Liquid code for message personalization and dynamic content insertion
  • Experience with AB testing and optimization

Bonus points: 

  • In depth knowledge of Braze strongly preferred.
  • Basic image asset editing skills, with Photoshop or similar tools
  • Knowledge of media asset management best practices
  • Familiarity with campaign analytics and attribution using UTM parameters and link tracking tools like Branch.io
  • Familiarity with deep link setup for native apps, using URL parameters and deep-linking tools
  • Understanding of customer data platforms such as Twilio Segment CDP for audience segmentation and campaign triggering

The base pay range for this position is $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
