How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:

The LifeSciences Inside Sales Representative (ISR) works with internal and external partners to identify and qualify prospects and support closing sales of LifeNet Health LifeSciences human primary cells, cell models and services. This role is responsible for sales performance by achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Inside Sales Representative will leverage digital tools to develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts and routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate field sales partner for further development and closure. The Inside Sales Representative will leverage digital tools to source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls, and emails to capture understanding of customer needs and requirements. The ISR will possess consultative sales skills combined with in-depth knowledge of the LifeSciences product portfolio and act as a resource for customers and field-based sales team members while achieving sales objectives.

 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Sales Execution: Develops meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty. Develops understanding of customer needs and requirements. Work with field sales partner to build pipelines and close deals. Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and inventory updates to customers. Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new inventory along with explaining technical features or advantages.
  • Lead Generation: Leverage digital tools to research accounts, identify key players and generate interest for new prospects resulting from Marketing activities and independent research on existing customers or new targets. Research and create tailored communications to develop sales qualified leads. Maintain and expand database of prospects, and cross-selling opportunities within assigned customer base.
  • Metrics & Reporting: ISR will manage metrics tracking and reporting for lead qualifications, follow-up, and sales conversion. Maintain and update inside sales platforms, processes, and associated metrics. Develop thorough understanding of systems and processes to support the entire sales cycle up to customer delivery.
  • Sales Forecasting: Contributes to and implements strategies to advance sales forecasting and reporting to uncover trends that enable growth,

 

What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree -Biology or LifeSciences related field
  • 3 Years Sales experience in the LifeSciences industry; primary human cell products

 

Preferred/Skills/Certification:

  • 2 years Sales experience with primary human hepatocytes preferred

 

 

How you will contribute (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  • Knowledge of LifeSciences research and development: Understanding of cell related products and reagents. (understanding of primary human cells in particular Hepatocytes)
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls
  • Attention to Detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery
  • Business Acumen: Ability to work independently. Has working knowledge of drug development, pharmaceutical and agrochemical industry and ability to communicate this to others
  • Customer Centric: Centers themselves around process and customer management that aligns with a developed strategy for working with customers
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with using computer programs and electronic documents. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytic Skills: Ability to identify sales opportunities/trends from research analytics and metrics; ability to generate metrics and reporting for sales operations.

*The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate’s qualifications including prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position in Virginia Beach

$74,353 annually (entry-level qualifications) to $99,138 annually (experienced in this role).

*Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.

*This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on certain criteria being met.
