Life & Annuity Advocate I - New Inforce

Responsibilities

  • Complete Life Inforce services and job duties as assigned.
  • Achieve or exceed service standards, productivity goals and quality goals.
  • Complete In Good Order checklists for processing
  • Effectively communicate with other departments within Horace Mann as well as with our Agents and Clients
  • Learn and understand functions within life or annuity, such as ACH transactions, life-base illustrations, allocation changes, withdrawals, surrenders, etc.
  • Provide suggestion for improvements.
  • Collaborate with peers and manager to maintain operational standards.

Requirements

  • 1-2 Years of college OR High School Diploma required.
  • 1-2 Years' experience in insurance service operations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective written/verbal communication skills and analytical skills are required.
  • Demonstrates above average math/accounting skills.
  • Strong background in life products and/or insurance law a plus.
