What You’ll Do Here

We are looking for a licensed loan originator with at least 5 years of mortgage experience. In this position, you will be required to gain your MLO license, Qualified Individual License, or Responsible Individual license across the country as needed to support HomeLight’s Buy Before You Sell program.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain mortgage licenses in states where you are not currently licensed, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the Qualified Individual on record for the states we operate in, representing HomeLight in regulatory matters.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that all licensing requirements are met in a timely manner.
•  Working with the compliance department, function as liaison with regulators as required..

What You Bring

• Minimum of 5 years of mortgage experience.
• 3 years with an active license within the last 5 years as a Mortgage Loan Originator.
• 30 first lien loans originated in the last 5 years.
• Strong understanding of mortgage licensing regulations and requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses and complete continuing education as required.
