The Importance of this Role:
We are looking for a Licensed Insurance Agent, Retention that works to increase insurance policy sales and retention by offering advocacy for our clients, selling additional insurance products, and providing rewritten policies, when applicable. In this role, reporting to a Customer Service Manager, you will be tasked with conducting renewal and new business reviews, processing endorsements, providing guidance to policyholders on claims-related items and selling additional insurance products to our existing Customers. This role requires an active P&C or Personal Lines License.
This role is an in-office position based out of our Columbus, Ohio location.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct renewal reviews, advise on insurance coverages, answer questions, and re-shop when requested
- Ability to quickly build rapport with clients over phone, email, and text
- Setting and completing tasks with organized notes while following consistent processes
- Run sales process effectively with organized notes and tasks for follow-ups
- Provide sales with quality in mind, following call quality processes
- Clearly articulate Matic value proposition to the client
- Achieve sales targets for calls, cross-sales and retention
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed Property & Casualty Agent
- Must be a self-starter with the desire to learn and grow
- Must not be adverse to a sales-driven mentality
- Excellent communication skills
