As a Liability Trading Analyst you will support the Liability Trading Management (LTM) team. In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of our cutting-edge Alpha Odds product, helping our clients achieve their targets and maximize their potential in the fast-paced world of Managed Trading Services.
The main goal of the Alpha Programme is to deliver enhanced odds pricing for customers who provide liquidity information through MTS. The ideal candidate is someone with a sports trading or analytical background, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple internal departments.
THE CHALLENGE
- Monitoring performance of Alpha Odds across clients and sports.
- Analysis and escalation of underperformance and odds issues while developing clear guidelines and procedures for the escalation process.
- Optimising configuration settings across clients, sports, tournaments etc to maximise KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Operational Account Management (OAM) team to deliver clear, actionable insights on Alpha performance to clients, ensuring they maximize the value of our services.
- Evaluating performance of various Alpha Models and assigning clients to optimal model for their business.
- Evaluation of business strategy and advice to help succeed.
- Prepare reports and manage administrative functions delegated by Liability Trading Manager.
YOUR PROFILE
- Previous experience with analytical/trading roles within the sports betting industry is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL Server.
- Natural collaborator who thrives in a team environment and quick to build trust with colleagues across internal teams.
- Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Agile mindset to adapt to shifting priorities and evolving product landscapes to meet strict deadlines.
- Collaborative team player, ability to work well with others and have the confidence and integrity to earn internal team's confidence quickly.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as needed.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
