Levridge is looking for an experienced, passionate, and results-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the culture, strategy, vision, and direction of our team. This is a new role for our team as we expand our organizational structure to reflect the growth of our business. The new CEO will work closely with the President of Levridge, Becky Newell, and the CEO of Stoneridge Software, Eric Newell, on the transition of responsibilities.
 
Our purpose is to elevate agricultural businesses. We're creating industry-shaping software to help agribusinesses take advantage of the robust infrastructure that Microsoft Dynamics provides. Levridge was built to modernize how business is being done at Ag Retailers, Ag Processors, and Ag Enterprises, making operations more efficient, organized, and accessible.

Your industry expertise in Agriculture Retailers, Processors, and Enterprises and your passion for technology will be integral to the role, as will your acumen and experience growing a high-performing and financially healthy organization. 

A Day in the Life

  • Lead, Manage, and Drive Accountability:
  • Maintain a deep knowledge and network within the agriculture industry and ag-related technology solutions. Utilizing this experience to grow our client network and partnerships
  • Provide expert advice and insights on market trends, challenges, and opportunities within the agriculture industry
  • Develop high-quality business strategies and plans, laying out the five-year strategic plan for the organization and updating it annually to move forward towards our target
  • Communicate the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategic goals
  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
  • Collaborate with the board of directors, investors, and external partners
  • Build trusted relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
  • Lead and motivate the team to advance employee engagement and develop a high-performing team
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to the organizational leaders and direct reports
  • Uphold a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Foster and champion psychological safety and a positive team environment
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent

  • Financial Management
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ensure financial stability, profitability, and sustainable growth
  • Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
  • Outline requirements for reports to establish and monitor financial and operational metrics
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements

  • Sales & Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Set the sales and marketing strategy for the company
  • Provide executive support to our partner sales resource to help enable successful sales
  •  Create and foster key relationships with partners to help build our brand and win new business
  • Explore partnerships and other business ventures which may enable growth for the business
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Develop and maintain pricing formulas for our products to assure we have established an appropriate margin for our products
  • Oversee the marketing function and collaborate on the right messaging for our clients, partners and stakeholders

  • Product Development
  • Partner with the President on the strategy around the Levridge Core application and communicate updates to clients, partners and stakeholders
  • Dive into the Levridge Equity product and learn the application so we can position it effectively to new clients
  • Build a business plan for the Levridge Equity product with the resources we need to make that product successful

  • Consulting
  • Partner with Delivery Lead to make sure products are well implemented by our partners
  • Establish rate card for consulting work and participate in negotiations with partners on delivery scope and rates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Management, Business or Agriculture related field 
  • 10+ years of proven experience in a C-suite position 
  • Relevant industry expertise within Agriculture and Technology 
  • Sales leadership experience  
  • Proven impact and influence skills –the ability to work broadly across disparate groups to gain agreement on direction, integrate disparate opinions into a cohesive strategy/message and present/defend recommendations.   
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision  
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles  
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.  
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices  
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills  
  • Exceptional written, verbal and creative communication skills, including ability to translate insight into content, create slide or written presentations, create overall communication plans 
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills  
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate uncertain situations to drive for clarity; work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-speed environment.   

  • This position is available on a REMOTE basis in the United States but a location near Fargo, ND is preferred 

    Travel Required: Candidateis expected to periodically meet with client teams across the United States and Canada will be asked to attend company and industry events from time to time.  Candidate may be asked to travel internationally to support development of overseas partners.
