We are seeking an experienced and strategic Legal Partner to join our company. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal guidance on a broad range of legal issues, including international business transactions, compliance, contract negotiations, and risk management. This individual will play a critical role in aligning legal strategies with the company’s business objectives, ensuring that operations are compliant with local and international laws.
Responsibilities:
Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal counsel to the executive team on matters related to corporate law, international trade, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
Compliance Management: Ensure the company's operations comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. Develop and implement compliance programs and policies.
Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of all legal agreements, including client contracts, vendor agreements, partnership deals, and confidentiality agreements.
Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Advise on the legal implications of company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Extensive knowledge of international business law, corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills.
Excellent knowledge of international trade laws and regulations.
Ability to manage complex litigation and dispute resolution processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
Experience: 5+ years of legal experience, preferably with a focus on international law, corporate law, and contract negotiations.
