MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 400 + strong team (we’re thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.
Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you’ll find us in Boston, MA, as well as East Providence, RI and Denver, CO.
We’re making new and exciting things – and we could really do with your help.
In a nutshell, we aim to help MOO achieve its strategic objectives in a way that balances risk appropriately and upholds our integrity as a business. We’re excited to grow our London-based small but mighty Legal team of one, currently led by our Head of Legal.
This is an opportunity to join MOO at an exciting growth stage (lots of new products I hear you say), becoming a pivotal part of a small but collaborative Legal team where you’ll have a real impact from day one. You’re eager to learn in a growth environment and have a talent for simplifying complex legal concepts, transforming legal jargon into clear, concise, and approachable language.
With qualified experience—ideally in commercial, technology, corporate, or data protection law—you’re ready to dive into diverse legal challenges. Whether your experience comes from an in-house role or private practice, you bring a collaborative, proactive mindset and a meticulous approach, with a passion for getting the details just right.
You’re excited by the opportunity to join a growing team, reporting into the Head of Legal, and contribute to shaping the legal function as it evolves. As MOO’s Legal Counsel, you’ll play a vital role in supporting teams across the business, ensuring smooth operations and providing practical legal guidance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Commercial Contracts: Reviewing and negotiating agreements with partners and suppliers, aligning with legal standards and MOO’s values.
- Data Privacy: Advising on DPAs, record-keeping, and marketing compliance.
- Marketing: Navigating advertising guidelines and e-commerce considerations.
- Product Supply and Development: Partnering with procurement, sustainability, and operations teams to provide legal guidance that ensures compliance while delighting customers.
- Regulatory Compliance and Governance: Staying ahead of UK, US, and international legal developments, from data protection to intellectual property, and contributing to MOO’s ESG initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with teams across MOO—Brand, Sustainability, Supply Chain, and Tech—offering legal insights and delivering pragmatic solutions with confidence.
