The Legal Corporate & Compliance team is in charge of overseeing and managing the legal affairs related to Corporate and Compliance matters, and therefore participating & mitigating the risk management for the Deezer group. You will join a team of 4 and report directly to the VP, Legal Corporate & Compliance.
What you will do:
Compliance matters
Implementation and execution of the compliance program for the Deezer group
Management of compliance requests (KYC) from our suppliers
Corporate/ M&A
Legal management of Deezer S.A. and the group's subsidiaries (including preparation of meetings of the board of directors and general meetings of shareholders, social formalities, etc.)
Management of the group's insurance policies (including negotiation and renewal of coverage with insurance companies); management of the group's French and foreign lease contracts;
Assistance in the preparation of financial reports (in particular the group's annual report) and in legal aspects relating to securities law (in particular, corporate governance and regulatory matters, but also capital market operations, including the issuance of shares) and to business law (in particular, M&A operations)
Others
Coordination of relations with the team's various external service providers in France and abroad (lawyers, notaries, formalists, translators, etc.)
Assistance to other operational teams in the group according to their needs; monitoring management and legal research
This role is excellent for a person with:
Master degree in a Legal related field
2-3 years of experience in corporate law, business law/M&A and/or compliance law (ideally with an experience in a law firm)
Autonomous, adaptable, pro-active and curious
