- Provide expert legal advice and support on a variety of legal matters, including contracts, intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of agreements and contracts, ensuring they align with company policies and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks in various business initiatives.
- Stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the IT sector.
- Assist in handling disputes, legal claims, and litigation matters, working closely with external legal counsel when required.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to address complex legal issues and provide informed recommendations.
- Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Develop and deliver legal training to internal stakeholders to promote awareness of legal best practices.
- Help ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Admission to the Bar and licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on technology, intellectual property, and contracts.
- Solid understanding of IT and technology-related legal issues, including data privacy and cybersecurity.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to think strategically.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of international legal issues and experience with global regulatory compliance is a plus.
